The Parker Relocation Group owns and operates two Moving Companies in Nanaimo. Nanaimo Minute - Men, an agent for United Van Lines Canada, and Metro Moving and Storage, an agent for Mayflower Canada. We are the largest moving company based in Nanaimo and employ our own full time experienced crews who have had background checks and are fully insured and bonded. As we are based in Nanaimo you are only charged local transit time.
Packing for your local move.
You can have all the packing and unpacking for your local move done for you by our professional local packing teams. You can elect to have a partial pack of just your fragile items including packing artworks and lamps. Click on the picture to the left to see our videos on how to pack.
If you prefer you can do the packing yourself and arrange your own materials or have Parker Relocation Group provide all the materials to you.
You can pickup materials at our Nanaimo Local moving depot or we can deliver to your door.

The Parker Relocation Group is headquartered in Nanaimo and owns and operates many different types of local moving trucks and equipment with our own full time crews. We charge only local transit time and services are provided at a very competitive hourly rate, depending how many crew are necessary to complete your move.
We provide complementary wardrobe service for your hanging clothes; we will disassemble and pack all beds into new plastics mattress bags and reassemble beds for you. We fully protect your floors by laying floor runners at both origin and destination and our crews are insured against any accidental damage to your home. All crews are fully covered by WorkSafe BC so there are no liability issues you need to worry about.
Local Storage in Nanaimo
The Parker Relocation Group provides Container Storage for short term storage and also a government approved heated secure warehouse in Nanaimo where all your goods are loaded into large wooden sealed containers.
